Annie called this fall with the happy news that she was engaged. And I couldn’t have been happier for her. She’s waited awhile for this and she’s been FAITHFUL in the waiting. Such a good example of a life submitted to Jesus, determined to find the Treasure. Marrying Jon was simply an extension of this heart attitude.
Their wedding day was indeed a happy day.
They opted to see each other before the wedding and I always love it when they do. You can literally feel emotion in the air in these moments…
People said it over and over at the wedding. Jonathan makes Annie really, really happy. That was evident during picture time…
Speaking of Annie being happy and Jonathan being totally smitten by Annie and her happiness… I told them to “interact” then gave the traditional cough, cough when it was time to quit interacting and move on. Not even close to effective. I cracked up as I all but jumped up and down to get their attention. So sweet and I can handle being ignored in this amount of happiness.
Jonathan, lookin’ good.
Annie is beautiful, obviously. But the glow in the midst of 40 degree weather comes from the inside!
Annie and her sisters managed to pull together an incredibly meaningful and beautiful wedding in somewhere around 5 weeks. Impressive.
And the atmosphere just got more and more beautiful as the night went on.
…happily ever after.
Annie and Jon, it was a pleasure and I respect the two of you as you look at Jesus and love each other. God bless you with a rich, kingdom-centered marriage!
